The Witch and The Renaissance Man

So you’re curious about us and why we refer to ourselves as the Witch and the Renaissance Man? I’ll tell you but first you must know that I’m curious about you… although he probably isn’t but that doesn’t matter right now.

Tell me, are you happy? Do you feel like you’re in charge? Are you doing things that make your heart soar? Can you handle the little (and big) problems that come up?

I only ask because I’m excited about my life right now. It took me a while to get here. I had to learn to take charge of my life so that I could do the things that I was passionate about. It is possible and you can do it, too.

The Witch

I’m Heather, the witch in Green Witch. I am Matriarch of our Village, grower of all things, and wielder of magic. I write about gardening, witchcraft, life, family and my latest hobbies.

While most witch blogs are all about the craft and practice, this one is more about how I weave those beliefs and practices into my everyday life.

I’ve been a practicing witch for over 20 years, parenting for over 27 and crafting all my life. The Renaissance Man is a restaurant manager by profession and a jack of all trades in his spare time.

The Renaissance Man

My Favorite Person

This is the Renaissance Man. He’s not a witch, but he is pretty awesome and mechanically inclined. His self -proclaimed goal in life is to become a grumpy old man and he’s excelling in his progress. Mostly, he makes me laugh, that’s why I keep him around *wink*.

Together we’ve been through some rough times but we’ve learned to work together to create a pretty amazing life.

We’d love to share our experience. We have information that might make your life easier or more magical as well as words of wisdom to offer and advice from the front lines of the real world.

Although, I have to warn you, if you don’t like amusing anecdotes or pop culture references, you may not enjoy our space. We’re kind of nerdy that way.
